I mentioned this on another thread....

On a couple of occasions (1st half) the ball broke kindly for someone to drive into space or beyond their man but Skuse (I think) would turn and play sideways allowing the opposition to get back into shape and therefore sacrificing our short lived numerical and territorial advantage. We're just too pedestrian in the middle of the park and that is making our strikers (Murphy) look worse than they are

I was never one to slag off either Martin Or Thomas but to now claim they were great players for us is a little Ridonkulas, Martin always gave his all but lacked any true quality and couldn't finish for toffee and as for Thomas he threatens to be a good player every now and then but does not seem to have the desire or commitment to actually achieve anything.

And before someone says that Thomas is scoring for fun at Bristol city they are in League one and struggling, and i'm not even sure if Martin has played for Millwall...

I wasn't the biggest fan of Martin, I liked JET but we miss players like them even if Martin wasn't great I think our team now would be better with him than without and the same goes for JET.

We're very predicatable and have very similar players as I've said Mick doesn't do unpredictability or take risks. I think all of our midfielders are decent enough but they're all what I would consider to be defensively minded in their position which is why we struggle to create. Hyam has been poor but I think that is mainly because he's being asked to play a role he's not suited to. Skuse has done well but I think he can do alot more, I've no problem with keeping the ball and sideways passes but to often he starts off the move and is content to sit back and not get involved in the attack, he to me opitimizes what Mick is like as a manager, Skuse clearly has talent and does a solid job but doesn't take enough risks and isn't brave enough on the ball, particularly in a 442. For me I'd change formation and personel. I'd either go 532, or 451/433 or maybe even a 442 diamond formation with Wordsworth at the tip of the diamond.

For me Mick always judges how well we do generally on how well the players do off the ball rather than on it, I think that is a bit of a problem because that means he chooses all players for their work off the ball over on it, I think you need a few in there who you choose for the work they do on the ball, we need to change the balance.

I think Kane is the type of striker we need, from what I've seen in breif cameos for tottenham although it's annoying we're bring in a loan, although tbh I probably wouldn't have brought in Nouble or Murphy at all, they're both distinctly average more toward poor.
