Doesn't this mean that those that are born and bred up there, yet living elsewhere, miss out, but the load of non-Scottish students in Edinburgh get a say? If people choose to come and live here, for whatever reason, why shouldn't they get the vote? They get to vote in the Westminster election and no one complains about that, do they?
It's the expat vote you should worry about (if they get a vote). They'll be all romantic about the homeland and vote yes and won't have to live with the aftermath.
