Our good form continues

I agree with Jayram. However, aside from the Man U game, i thought Marseille at home was our worst performance all season.

 

Not really, our form is measured by our run of results - hence the form guide.
Performances are a different thing, but form is determined by results.

Moot point really, our performances / form has been good enough to see us win 7 of our last 8 league games and lose just one of the last 12

 

I think they've steadily improved really. You could say, they have become more consistent

 

We won 0-3 at City last year, so I don't see any reason why we can't get 3 pts there too this time around, but I would be more than happy with 4 pts from both games

 

If we don't 6 points Wenger should be sacked

PISKIE - I just saw the Marly Marl reply, I immediately hold you in higher esteem than previously, anyone who knows about he Juice crew can't be all bad

I think we are inconsistent still, because we are getting results you can't say we are not, we haven't really been tested I don't think, tougher games are set to come and our reliance on RVP is great. We beat Wigan easily but, lets be honest, so has everybody else, that is hardly a test. We are unconvincing in my view. In some games we create chances, in others we don't.

 

I grew up on a diet of Juice Crew, Native Tongues and I remember loving the JVC force because, totally unrelated JVC had just started sponsoring Arsenal at the time

 

Who was/were your favourite(s) from the Juice Crew ? I loved Masta Ace and Big Daddy Kane and Roxanne Shante. Loved the Boogie Down Productions battle against the Juice Crew, KRS1 will always be the best in my eyes !!

 

Big Daddy Kane had great flows. Out of the whole Juice Crew, I think Marley Marl has to take credit for bringing the whole scene together. I was a big fan of BDP and KRS1 lyrics were always really conscious, when a lot of rappers were still just talking about battling, he was rapping about race, politics, philosophy and the industry itself. I would have loved to have seen Scott La Rock and KRS1 go on to make more records, it was tragic that he was lost so young.

If I had to pick one record out of that whole scene, whilst Roxanne's revenge is a stand out, for me it would have to be BDP - My Philosophy.
