Can't see us paying out big money for a well known superstar, more likely to get lesser known bargain buys that our main man has found for us.

I'm quite happy to continue as we are in terms of shrewd signings, just hope we dont lose anyone important.

Got to give credit to them, they've been on the ball so far.

I've been hugely impressed by everything last season and this season, if only they managed to get it like this from the very start! Who knows where we could be now, could even have a trophy in the cabinet. But if we continue as we are thats where we could be headed anyway. Would love an FA cup next season, or even a carling cup.

Anything would be welcomed by all of us. We're getting close to winning something, that's for sure.

I'm not so sure - Obviously our league form has been good but we're not gonna win that, and we were crap in the cups.

    WHAT????

Maybe you havent been impressed because he has been a sub almost the entire season and has barely been given 10 minutes let alone 20 most times hes come on, what do you expect?

I think considering his minimal gametime and the fact most of us rate him shows he is a good player.

It would be a lovely thought. Sadly he is set for one of the big guns and mega money.

I agree. He still has plenty to work on but the raw elements are there. Clearly he still needs to fill out a bit but he has never let us down so far. Its difficult to judge him without seeing him get 5 or 6 games off the belt. That way you get to understand their consistency levels. I like him but as you say has a fair way to go to securing a permanent spot.

Agreed, I love his attitude, he seems to come on and put in 100% effort regardless of the ability he may or may not have and in flashes has looked very good, when will he get the chance to play 5-6 games in a row though? Possibly next season when injuries kick in because of europe etc... but strictly speaking he may not get a prolonged run in the team and needs to start making the most of his small chances. Same goes for Gosling, although he never looks remotely arsed when he comes on.

    I'm telepathic.

I knew this would be the player you mentioned.

I've been talking with Toon fans around where I sit, and they said if we finish in the CL, they think Hazard could be a signing, due to us being so far up the table and Cabaye being here.

But I also want to point out the fact that Arsenal do have a better team, quality wise and a bigger fan base, a better manager, more cash and more experience at this level AND they also have a former team mate of hazards - Gervinho!!

Arsenal will also be willing to pay in the 6 figure wages for him I bet.

I think Ashley will raise the wage cap a bit now we are where we are, but I don't think we'll go back to the days of paying massive wages for players.

Also I don't see us paying the transfer fee at all. He'll cost around 30m+

Arsenal seem ready made for him, tbh.

Can't disagree with any of that, but where did you see that proposed transfer fee? I saw 15-20 million somewhere but can't remember where. 30 million is certainly possibly these days though, with the City's, PSG's and Chelsea's of the world, so that would be us 110% out of the running. Not that we're even in it of course.

Well I'll be honest - I've got no idea how long his contract has to go. I think it's long term, so that's why I think he'd cost around 30+ million.

He'll only go for 15-20m if he's only got 1 year left on his contract.

Not a chance, a bigger team than us will snap him up.

Even though I don't agree with writing him off as fast, I agree mostly with this comment.

A lot of clubs will be after him, and based mostly on our wage structure, we can't compete.

I see him going to either PSG, Arsenal or Real Madrid.

Hazard is phenominal, will be a star. What on earth makes you think he will sign for us, lets be realistic.

By all accounts Man Citeh and Manure are competing for his signature, and will be paying a ridiculous fee for him. Aside from anything else, I'd be quite uneasy about us getting involved in a bidding war and paying over the odds. Lets lea ve the silly money to other clubs and get on with unearthing some hidden gems that none of us have ever heard of! :D

I could only see him signing for one of the Manc clubs, PSG or the top two Spanish clubs.

    Imagine him at Barca:

    Hazard---Messi---Sanchez
    -----Xavi-----Iniesta-----
    --------Busquets--------

With Fabregas, Pedro, Cuenca, Tello, Adriano etc in the wings

Thers's only one word that can be used to describe that: jizz...
