So how long is OUR rangercol gonna be skulking about in the background, thinking no-one can see him reading posts then?

I would happily personally welcome him and his opinions / posts back. Was always a credit to our board and a good sparring partner.
i think although some of Cols, swords and my posts stretched the limits of the board. For me there was never any real hatred or lack of respect.

I love Col's match reports and his digs at me and others, and certainly dont take it personally. In fact i found it a source of fun and sometimes a reason to read the board

Ive seen him viewing a few posts now over the past few days and openly ask Col to come back and start posting again

Col, we may not agree on everything but thats the point. The people in my life that I most respect are those that stick to thier beliefs and dont back down. Id like to see you back mate, and no offense was ever intended or taken. You know where my PM is so feel free mate

Just my opinion and thoughts <ok>
 
Respect Col for what he wants to do IMO as Flyer

Col IMO has always been a top poster and there was a small fall out .. each person takes his/her time to recover if they want to do

when a few more answers are given on our team and how it 's all going to work I am sure more opinions from Col will be forthcoming and i agree I like reading them

Needs a nice holiday in France IMO
 
Col will be back. Norwich will implode again on the way to Div 1 and he'll be on here reminding us of his love of all things East Anglian
 
I am sure Col will be back in his own good time.

Him and Flyer gave this board more than most.

He's a big personality on here, glad this has all happened pre-season and hope he's back here & on form shortly.
 
One of the many things that I like about this forum is or was Col's match reports. Not only were they good, the way Col starts them off with his feelings about the coming game on his way there is spot on.

I'm sure most of us feel very much the same before the match and it just captures the mood perfectly for me. I very much hope we get treated to many more RangerCol reports this coming season.
 
The word on the grapevine is that Col & Flyer are scared of Swords, so won't come back

I suppose Swords is an imposing character on these boards, and sometimes the less self-assured posters can be a little overawed?

Well you should change your grapevine.

Flyer, yes. COL, no. The moment I came back the other day and apologised to COL he PM'd me saying no problem, case closed. (And I told Flyer that if he wants to come back in, I'll leave without a word being said. So he can't be scared of someone that wouldn't be here).

When Queens', COL's and my bans were up the other day I predicted we might not hear from COL for a long while because I figured he'd have felt he was punished unduly for a crime that he didn't commit. And he'd be right. No disrespect to the Mods but COL shouldn't have been banned because he did nothing wrong. Nor did Queens incidentally. But that's another argument.

I really hope COL rejoins soon because I can't think of a better footballing mind on the whole site. His tactical analysis is extremely astute and I've learned from his knowledge of the game. That and the fact that he's very passionate means the Board has lost something important in his absence. He's one of the few remaining stalwarts of the Board and has been here since its inception.

Yes its partly my fault he's not on here at the moment but I think his issue now is with the ban and not the sh*t that went on with me.

It's no slight on you mate! Not all posters can handle the level of banter dished out on these forums- and that's ok. There are plenty of bingo halls and knitting societies in West London
 
Doubt if anyone would be scared of 45 year 8 stone cross dresser but Swords is a nice bloke/ lady

About everyone realized that

Over the years we have all got to know each other well albeit digital and some face to face ... After any storm things get tighter IMO

Let's hope for a good season on here

When you get five min spare Griffer, please could you PM me more info on the highlighted subject kind Sir. Most on here prefer a pre-match pint but nothing gets me more in the mood for a game than a gold old pre-mattch knitt.

OK I will stop boring you long suffering posters now. I will not be at HQ tomorrow but look forward to a match thread Mr 9's?
