Argue my points fool or shut up. WUM or no WUM he is still spot on. Anyone can call names big man, I can call you every name under the sun but what does that prove ? Prove my points wrong or admit you are a pleb who can't argue and got his ass whooped by a superior intellect, you playground bully, but you can't bully me. As for alter egos and aliases, I'm the same theHotHead from 606, chat bout !
"Walcott has no football brain" is such a lazy, bullshit cliché. Look at his pass for RVP against Dortmund. If Gotze had done that, you'd need to get the grime fighters in to clean the jizz up off the SkySports studio.
I dont need to go into all that again, been done a 1000 times and pointless. We have enough plastic fans on here to start a recycling plant.
Well, since you asked, go support another team you fool. You claim that Arteta is not a class act. I disagree. Looking at the numbers you provided I come to the opposite conclusion as you. In every season bar one he would either assist or score a goal every 2nd or 3rd game. That is a very good ratio. The reason benayoun didn't play at Chelsea is because he was injured the majority of the time. Perhaps you should pay more attention. Park is somewhat unknown but until I get a good look at him I will refrain from passing judgment. As should you. Arsenal needed a big experienced defender. We bought mertesacker, who by all accounts, is about as big and experienced as defenders come. When it comes to national pedigree, 73 caps for Germany is about as good as it gets. As evidenced by their performances in pretty much every international tournament played in the past 50 years. The fact that you agree with waddle makes me question your sanity. Since you hate all of our players perhaps it would be in your interest to support another team. You won't be missed.
Clearly none of you have played football to a decent level. Walcott is a speed merchant, nothing more, he can't cross, he can't pick players out, he has no footballing brain as Waddle, one of the best wingers England has produced, states correctly. I also wrote that as a striker he is good, different mindset, different mentality to play there, you need to be somewhat selfish but as a winger you need a footballing brain. If you don't understand football don't argue with me, I'll make you look silly.
You can't argue so I suggest you keep quiet. You've probably argued with muppets, I dare you to enter the argument and watch me counter everything you say and kill your argument like Domestos ! As for plastics, I see you are a mudflinger who has little or no substance or backative to your talk.
Your point would make some sense if Walcott was an actual winger for us. He is cleary not though. Walcott for Arsenal is not expected to hug the touchline and cross to our forwards. We have one CF in Van Persie who is not an actual player that hangs around the box waiting for a cross. He drops deep and links play and looks for passes from the middle. Walcott for us is a what i call an 'inside forward'. He starts out wide but his main work is done in the middle. If you actually watch him play then what he does is he makes constant runs from out to in and looks for a pass played between the full back and the centre back. Walcott last season scored 13 goals from this role. On the counter, Walcott takes up a role in the middle and waits for any pass so he can run towards goal at speed from the middle or even from wide going to the middle. Walcott is not taught to cross, because if he was then we would have more players breaking their necks to give him somthing to aim at. What Walcott is taught to do at Arsenal is to score from out wide by coming inside. Also you need to drop the arrogance, its a bit pathetic.
Jeepers Creepers man ! Are you that stupid ? Arteta is the Everton penalty taker, of course he will score some goals, 6 assists in a season for a creative midfielder, someone we bought to provide bullets for the team he creates a goal in roughly every 5 matches, you think that is good ?? The reason Benayoun didn't play much at Chelsea is because he is average, he did play quite a lot at Liverpool though, quite a few as sub. Park is unknown but I don't see your point, I didn't criticise him, I said I can't see our preferred 3 up top being dropped for Park. The point about Mertesacker is just because he is picked by a national team coach, that doesn't mean anything. I can reel off a list of players picked by national team coaches who are kack. But if you actually read what I wrote I said I don't think Merts is a bad player, I think he is just what we need. The fact I agree with Waddle means I know my onions. Name a better winger than Waddle that England produced during that period. Lennon was a speed merchant as well, but he learned to find players and get end product at the end of his runs, Walcott doesn't. As for supporting another team, sorry chum, I was born closer to the Arsenal stadium than you !
Yup. Its like mob culture on this board. As soon as a few people called me a wum and said I had no idea then they all joined in like sheep. You are spot on in my view. We do suck. I think its hard to argue with dont. And the calibre of players we have bought are not up to scratch. If anyone wants to disagree with me then we can discuss it. But sadly they all seem to think that anything of a different view to their own is "WUMMING". Not at all. I love arsenal. But I dont like the direction the team is taking, and this summer was a complete and utter disaster.
Arrogance ? because I know what I am talking about ? Walcott has typically been played as a winger and he has adopted the exact same role for England. Just because he goes inside his man that doesn't make him an inside forward, and inside forward plays further forward than Walcott who typically is around the halfway line and often covers the full back who might bomb on - inside rights do not do that ! His main work is NOT done in the middle, he hardly ever comes in the middle, what are you on ?? You contradict yourself in your last 2 sentences about out to in and so forth. And considering you say Walcott isn't expected to cross he has crossed the ball an awful lot of times or cut the ball back to nobody. His actual position is a forward and, as I said already, when played as a forward he is a completely different player and one I would be happy to see play for Arsenal.
That was the easiest pass ever. They lost possesion deep. Came to theo and it was just a basic pass. Don't get me wrong, he still did well to make the pass. But it was hardly some sort of sick through ball ala MR Bergkamp. If you wanna see a guy with a footballing brain I suggest you watch some tape of him.
You call 13 goals good? For a whole frigging season? What the heck are you on? That attacking wing position is not a winger your right. He is there to score goals, create goals and link the play. He does none of this well. Ronaldo played a similar role to him at man utd and he scored almost 50 goals in a season. 13 goals, you haveing a laugh? Terrible return.
It seems like you feel exactly the same as me. I'm not happy, I'm still fuming with what happened this summer and during the transfer window. We lost Cesc and Nasri - 2 certs to go, we were already a few players light BEFORE we lost them, then we replace them with mostly mediocre players and certainly not enough to improve our squad from last year. As for the sheep, they can bleat all they want, they are NOT the majority and I can disagree with whoever I like. Those who don't like my opinions can suck salt !
From 25 starts, 13 goals is pretty good, especially as them starts most likely came at different times after injures etc so took a while to get going.. And compare anyone to ronaldo and they'd look ****..... Compare a whole team to ronaldo and they'd look ****.
His main work is done in the middle. He is not a winger and we do not expect him to be one. Look at United, they have wingers who when they look up have a players like Rooney,Hernandez and even Welbeck to aim at. At Arsenal this is not the case. Van Persie is not a player that stays in the box. He goes outside and links the play and drops off to find Walcott with passes when Theo makes runs into the middle. Last season he got 13 goals from out wide which is a good record. This season he has got 3 goals, and 2 of those in the cruical play off games in the CL. Wingers hug the touch line and beat their full back and then cross. Walcott does not do this and is clearly not asked to. Because if he is then where the hell are the players in the box when he goes to cross? Walcott does cover the full back. His sheer speed means full backs are always on their toes and have to think twice about going forward. An example is the way Walcott pinned Cole back when we played Chelsea at home last season. Also full backs like Abidal and Evra got pegged back when we played Barca and United at home last season. His speed also means he can recover and help and has done this many times. Until we change our system, Walcott is fine where he is. He has end product and you can't agrue against that.
He managed 13 goals and was out for THREE MONTHS with Injury. Compare him to other Premierleague Wingers and WF's Gareth Bale (pfa player of the year) - 11 Ashley Young - 9 Goals Juan Mata -9 Goals Mereiles - 5 Goals Valencia - 3 Goals Aaron Lennon - 3 Goals Nzogbia - 10 Goals Malouda - 13 Goals Ryan Giggs - 4 Goals David Silva - 6 Goals Adam Johnson - 7 Goals Shaun Wight Philips - 7 Goals You truely must be a WUM if you wont admit thats decent.
