    Agreed.

Although he was, like Weale, susceptible to the long shot.

Yep and another for Mark Wallington over here as well.

Best keeper never to play for England, should have been called up but unluckily was around at the same time as Ray Clemence and Peter Shilton.

    Regards

    Neal.

I remember when Ian Walker left and we went after Rab Douglas I thought he would be a quality signing. Turned out I was better then him

We signed a few players from Celtic and Rangers with high hopes... I don't think any of them were good in anyway... especially Charlie Miller

Far too early in his Leicester career to put Kasper up there with the greats, but since he hasn't put a foot wrong yet, if he continues at this rate and stays with us for a good length of time he will be. Also needs to play in the Prem to be able to compare.

To me Kasey Keller was a great, reaction shot stopper but give him something to think about or a shot from distance and he could be a bit dodgy.

I know he used to wear glasses, but did he wear contact lenses for games??? Could this have been his problem for the long shots or crosses???

But he was still an excellent goal keeper for us, but went downhill for me at the League Cup final against Spurs, their goal was definately his fault. Oh and I also blame Robbie Savage for not shooting after he'd ran half the length of the pitch towards the City support and then passing it sideways, whilst the whole of the City end were shouting "Shooooooooot!!!!!!" :steam:

    Ah well, memories :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Regards

    Neal.

Keller had his moments of excellence, ala Newcastle at Filbert Street in 96 (I think) but he was prone to the odd mistake and I dont think I ever saw him make an effort to save a penalty
