It'll be interesting how the midfield, and PEH in particular, go against Kante next weekend. Over the last couple of years or so, he has set the bar. Right now, you would say that they have every chance of shining.

 

I would guess we’ll see a return to the 3-5-2/5-3-2 we saw against City for the Chelsea game, hopefully with Højbjerg, Romeu, and Lemina as the 3. That should give Kante and co. something to think about anyway!

I like Steve, but for me PEH > Davis right now and would be on my ‘A’ team sheet. He’s worked hard and deserves it, and he’s more dynamic. He’s also less prone to playing the safety than Steven Davis, who seems to do it more than his snooker version. Squad game though, and SD should and will get games.

 

Davis is getting on a bit now anyway and it's probably around time that he was phased out/used for certain games.

Been a fantastic servant but hasn't been anywhere near as effective for a while now.

 

We need to have a good crack at the FA cup. Our squad is showing us its capable!

Yes please... I always judge managers - perhaps harshly - on how seriously we take cup tournaments. Fulham won't be an easy tie and don't think we'll win it with a second string... hopefully I'll be there too

Brilliant, brilliant performance , a far cry from what we’ve been served up during the first quarter of the season.

I said we were a lot better than we were showing, it’s so nice to have the proper saints back. Hojbjerg is an absolute baller. Stephens and JWP were fantastic together on the right as well.
