Perch stayed goal side of his man and ended between his own and Colo's, who scored the goal. Colo was doing **** all ten feet away.
If you're the club captain you're not allowed an "off" game (or at least not if it results in a loss). You're there to inspire and lead the team.
... and I made the point that blaming everything on Perch is sticking your head in the sand. Which bit of that wasn't clear enough for you?
Why the hostility? It was obviously ironic blaming it all on him. But you can't say he's been good, and that we've done well with him in the team.

Couldn't disagree more. I would take 37 world class performances per season, and 1 shocking one. In fact I'd probably take around 30 world class performances. Captain or not I would be happy with this for every player.
Regardless of wether its the first time or not i still believe you are well off the pace with this thread, as many have mentioned .. so its not really an immature response its stating what many think .. I stand by what i've said and it really does my head in when people try and blame it all on him .. your not the only one as quite a few on here seem to think everything bad is his fault.

That said he has been woeful, you can't say he hasn't. I've held back on my criticism of Perch in the past.

If you think your opening post was irony you really need to learn what irony is, because that wasn't it.
Perch was far better than Colo tonight and there were only a couple of players who did ok. Blaming it all on Perch instead of giving an impartial analysis ignores the real problems.
What is your problem? You're a lot older than me, and I don't think it's right for you to be so hostile. It's only a football forum and I was just trying to be light with my comments. Sorry if i offended you.
Perch is not good enough simple as that. Anyone that wants to argue that point may aswell be Ian Dowie. Get Williamson in for Bolton, Cabaye is back ok Vuckic di ok but hes not good enough yet. Tiote and Cabaye work simple as that again. Play Benny over Best.
Pace is a physical attribute which is effected by a lot of things, many of those not in direct control of the individual. How can someone getting beat for pace mean a bad performance? Ok he wasn't at his best. I believe the problems were:
- Playing a high line
- Perch
- Inexperience/or fitness in midfield
- Perch

Don't have a problem. You questioned my comment and i've questioned yours. I also don't buy your statement that your original comment wasn't serious and have said so.

Fair enough mate im not going to argue with you .. as you said we are all toon fans. But come on it was not irony .. and seriously i do not think he was been woeful.
