Like FLT, I was gutted not to be there. Bizarrely a family birthday, a wedding anniversary and getting news of another grandchild dominated the week-end. Some people have no idea about priorities. I absolutely love watching Saints away. A better bunch than the mad ever-presents would be hard to find. I am soooo looking forward to going to Anfield in a few weeks time. Always great craic and the Reds fans are generous in their praise of us when we win (unlike their dickhead manager).

When I hear our Fans singing their heads off even when we are losing....it make me proud to be a Saint!! All of you traveling fans should take a bow and the applause, you were superb!!! Well done to you gals and guys.:emoticon-0148-yes: :emoticon-0131-angel

The Guardian mentioned we turned on Pompey at the end...perhaps the fans sung it then.

There is always a bit of Pompey shooting called for but for some hating Pompey is a defining part of loving Saints and a historical link with times when this was expressed more physically. I'm not a fan but I understand it. Surely it is the gun of my Father that we are getting?

There was a great variety yesterday and I' was proud to join in. Being shoved in a corner added to the intensity. I like "The mighty Kenyan" and "We come from League 1" is classic Saints false modesty like "Where's all out players gone". I also like the Radio Gaga "All we need is Sadio Mane" and hope it topples the dull "Oh Sadio Mane".

We need some songs for some of our unsung heroes (literally) and I heard a little classic in the beer queue involving a dance tune and both of our Davises. This should be encouraged and if anyone knows it remind me what it was or I'll consult Mrs S and see if she knows.

Also Needed: Songs for Ryan, Cedric, VVD, Romeu and The Stek.

Then i think u r going to b cringing for a long time. Anti Pompey songs r part of being a Saints supporter, just as the reverse is true for Pompey fans. All rival clubs fans sing songs about their opposite numbers, rightly or wrongly. Its not a kindergarden, its football ffs ! And yes the Saints support at Stamford Bridge yesterday was magnificent, as it usually is whatever is happening on the pitch.

Its the classic "No Limits" by 2 Unlimited.

It's a rip off of the Manchester City song for the Toure Brothers. Yaya & Kolo go a lot better than Kelvin & Steven.

I quite enjoyed the renditions of "Mourinho's right, your team are ****e." Thought we were excellent throughout. Beat them off and on the pitch.

I watched the game on sky, i could hear the saints supporters loud and proud <applause>

That's the one, Mrs S has confirmed it. But a rip-off so file that away in the bin. Still it amused me at the time.
