Well that was pretty annoying.....

Thought we sat back far too much in the second half. Invited pressure on. Barnsley kept pushing and got the break, so fair play to them. I have no idea at all where 5 minutes came from, really, but that's not an excuse - we invited them on to us and they got their goal.

Perspective time. We need 2 wins and a draw from 5 games. at most. If we cant do that we simply dont deserve to get promoted. We would all have taken that at the start of the season, and frankly if we can't do that we don't deserve to go up...

We're Cardiff City, and we are still top of the f****** league :)
 
Last game of the season at the KC, should be a cauldron of joint celebration....we actually only need to make up 4 points. Big up to Cardiff, great season
 
I'm sorry but we got what we deserved tonight. Why the **** did we drop so deep and stop playing football when we score tonight. Tactics all wrong tonight. Kimbo off for Whitts? Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I am ****ing tampin. <grr>

Agreed - terrible approach from half way through the second half - but short of pub team form in the last month , this game and this result will not matter one jot come may....
I was totally fuming after the final whistle - mainly 'cause i could see that goal coming for twenty minutes but thought we had got away with it (and i still, still dont have a clue where 5 minutes came from.....). But in the grand scheme of this season, tonight really shouldnt matter...

Popbank, posted thia on the match thread: "6 substitutions makes it 3 minutes, stoppages during the game account for 2 minutes that gave the 5 posted by the 4th official, then McNaughton injured during the period of time added on. Their goal timed at 5 minutes 40 seconds according to ccplayer. Gutted, how many times did we hit the woodwork? And yes I know the posts are no longer wood before there are any remarks! Just a tad pee'd off..."

Were there 6 subsitutions?! Crikey.... fair enough then I guess. Yeah didnt have an issue with it going to 5:40 as it was clear that McNaughton's injury wouild have added some time on (and to be honest I had no idea how much added time had been played as the stadium clock dies at 90) so my anger was due in part to the players' reaction and in part to the fact that there's no way any team should be conceding a 95:40 equaliser.....

If the unthinkable happens (touch wood, touch wood) then Mr Helgusson will be having a few nightmares... If ever there was a time for a cool head!
 
Nothing to do with refs timekeeping. We got exactly what we deserved.
After we got the goal we stopped playing. A corner with atleast two minutes to go and Whitts called Heidi to him to hold the ball in the corner! Did he expect him to hold it that long.
We didn't drop too deep during stoppage time, we ran away.
Eleven players in our own half playing against a very limited team who are where they deserve to be in the league.
A total disgrace.

But we have enough points in the bag to finish the job.
