    IIRC, he was injured near the end of that season, so he may have played a couple of U21 games to get back into shape.

    Seen an article which says Coutinho could still leave Liverpool (not that I think he will). Apparently Spain's window doesn't shut for another day and they can still take a transfer from the PL. Not sure how that works, but nice if Liverpool fans have to suffer for another 24 hours.

    You're re-awakening my regret that we didn't keep him. The only thing that makes me smile is that, when he couldn't be persuaded to stay, Cortese was alone in his office, apart from Arsenal's negotiators, and they barely got out alive. :)

    It's him playing in the Markus Liebherr Memorial cup in Saints 3-0 win against Werder Bremen. Was a nice day out too from what I can remember.

    Such a random number. £180m just won't cut it, £183m and you have a deal.

    It's an insane price tag, but I guess that's the point. I would have said £100m was an insane price tag for Coutinho, so £183m is just bonkers.
