2 of 3 results went our way, that is ok. Bad news is that we will feel the backlash from Chelsea in our next game.
Might help us if West Ham are safe before we play them. Maybe ..... Then again they will be when Villa go there.
I watched the highlights from those in the mire today, West Ham looked good and deserved their win to be fair. Norwich were rubbish and Bournemouth look as bad as we have done after the restart. This is going to be one slog for survival. West Ham and Brighton have pulled away in the table a bit, only putting more pressure on Muff, Villa and us.
It is back in our own hands after these games though....I don't think our focus has changed...we must beat wet spam, Norwich and Newcastle anything also is a bonus. As posted earlier I do fear for us on Saturday!
West Ham seem to generally do well against Chelsea - probably why they looked motivated and up for it. Bit like against Spurs where they were a bit unlucky with an iffy VAR given own goal. Against Wolves like us v Burnley and Southampton they were pretty toothless Nothing like a big London derby to get a team going...
I think Brighton will lose the next three but they have winnable matches against Newcastle and Burnley. Safe I'd say, too.
Bournemouth 1-0 up.. I can see Roy Keane steaming from here ! Loads of time for Man U to get back. (Hopefully)
Now 2-1 with ManUre and Bournemouth - sanity prevails. And Luton losing 0-2 at home to Reading. So sad...
