For us on Sunday in a nutshell: If Villa win, then Watford need to better their result by two or more goals to stay up. If Villa draw, any Watford win would ensure their safety. If Villa lose, a Watford draw would be enough.
This no longer looks workable....sadly i just can't see us doing anything on Sunday I have little hope now...
Next season will be so hard to see any live games on TV or online... Abd what with Coronavirus and attendance looking to be a very alien ating time
Maybe the club will show games inhouse but yes we will stuck out on Quest for highlights and have no national media coverage at all.
Based on this season, that may be no bad thing. And to think that I just recently forked out £50 for an annual subscription to an IPTV service in order to watch all the games without streams buffering and being blocked.
A colleague of mine a Leeds supporter says he found most matches on internet streams.... which is good news at least...
No doubt about it. Here in Scotland we seem to be swamped with either Celtic or Rangers matches on TV - other teams get only minimal exposure (although, to be honest, it can be quite easy to see why). As an aside, when I first started using the internet, about 25 years ago in Australia, one of the first things I wondered was whether or not I'd be able to watch Watford online on the club's website. When the answer to that proved to be no, I then looked further afield for bigger clubs - and the answer was still no. I then went the other way and looked at smaller clubs, initially in England and then in Scotland. Amazingly the only club to provide such a service - and free of charge at that - was Dumbarton - so I spent many a weekend evening watching highlights on their website. I can't help but think that they missed the chance to make some money out of it.
Only the half time score I know, but should we be taking heart from West Ham's lead at ManUre? It may mean Villa have a more difficult task on their hands at the weekend... Clutching at straws...
really hard to see how a group so obviously shorn of confidence and beleif can do that ! only a couple are playing anywhere near their ability , lots of effort yes but the quality and mojo are missing , arsenal will be able to stroll through this as a training game and win .......
that’s a drowning mans straw , we lose to arsenal by a couple , spam hardly likely to thrash them if at all , they in contrast have now got belief ....
HHAHHAHAHAA true, but a possible scenario. I know we have been ****e, I don't get Foster's comment about such low confidence. I thought the back to back wins would have risen it a bit. But, on the pitch it shows that it is a rock bottom.
As far as I am concerned at the w/e we should just throw caution to the wind and throw the kitchen sink at Arsenal al la Liverpool as Spam will not turn up against Villa or at least not try very hard, go down fighting. If we do get relegated how will the Pozzo's react to it? Sell the club?
I agree 95% ....... but as in the story... This is our most desperate hour. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.
