That was more stressful than trying to watch Watford defend a 1-0 lead. I almost felt sorry for Eddie.

Was just going to post the same. We’re at the point where watching another team’s game is just as hard as watching ours. I’m exhausted after that!

Have to say, prior to kick-off I had Bournemouth to win that. Fair play to Southampton, not optimistic that Everton will put up such a fight next week.

If the 'new manager bounce' allows us to get a point on Tuesday, it won't matter what they do.

Yes great result... If villa lose next we need only avoid a kicking in our last two.. But one little point would be superb

I did feel sorry for him
Apart from our current predicament I would have wanted them to SMASH Southampton

The bear bones of it now are:

    Villa have
Arsenal (h) on Tues, West Ham (a) Sun

    Muff have Everton (a) Sun

We have Citeh (h) on Tues, Arsenal (a) Sun

It is going down to the last day of the season, that is for sure.

Again One point would do it..... unless Villa win twice... which is most unlikely...

Muff might get a draw against Everton
Villa might get a couple of points....

If either team win once only.... then we need to not lose by more than the odd goal in our next two....which given our Citeeh record is unlikely

So IMO the odds favour us..... BUT... anything can happen!

The odds still favour us Yorkie, even though we are currently the worst of the 3 clubs we still have the extra points on the board. We still have the same players who beat Liverpool (hard to believe) so there is life there somewhere. If we do go down I want us to have matched City at least once before doing so - because that is the missing piece of the jigsaw - we've beaten all the others at some time in our Premiership adventure. City have nothing to play for - they're in second place whatever happens, and have got a lucky reprieve (undeserved) from Europe. They are there for the taking :emoticon-0165-muscl

Bournemouth looked quite lively on the break till Southampton scored.

I fear Everton won't have a lot of motivation to score etc if they full behind.

I rather suspect that their board would be overjoyed if we went down.

May the odds be ever in our favour...

Alas we do not have a sharpshooter like Katniss Everdeen to win the day!

Yes and the Arsenal players/fans would love to send Deeney down.

I can see the Tweets and comments of abuse at Troy now.

A nice easy Sunday afternoon from them as they won't want to get injured before the Cup Final. Arsenal need to secure European football - the FA Cup is their on chance.

A bit of form being shown by Everton - leading 1-0 at Sheff.Utd.

    Might be worrying for Bournemouth

Richarlison scored - he will always try.

In fact we could do with him now!

I mean Everton aren't a bad team defensive wise - just worried if Bournemouth went 1 up would they find the real desire to come back.

Suppose they did against Villa though.

Richy rich last minute equaliser - revelas Watford shirt underneath when celebrating.

Welbeck to get last minute winner v Gunners.

    If Carlsberg made relegations shfights.
