Germans picked up the wrong man for the truck incident...released him now....which allowing the culprit to get away and disappear amongst the other million refugees that Merkel with good intentions allowed into the country....ISIL have said that one of their "soldiers" were responsible for the atrocity.

The Russian Diplomat killing is hard to safeguard against in such a muslim country as Turkey.....but even so why was an off-duty policeman out of uniform allowed to wander around so easily behind the Ambassador....it seems he flashed his ID allowing him to by-pass the metal detectors.

Be honest anyone can claim resposibility for anything if they want to whether they did it or not. Mrs M is hoping no refugee had a hand in this and it may pay the authorities out there not to catch anyone for it. Here starts another conspiracy theory........

Even without anyone being caught Merkel is facing a growing opposition....there have been thousands of refugee related problems....including rape....a lot of Muslim men haven't seen female flesh so uncovered before close up....they see it as fair game.

Hmmmm!! That's a bit stereotistic a statement isn't it. Muslim men haven't seen flesh so they are rapists. Sounds like the sort of UKIP style statement to me. There are plenty of white westerners who have been "exposed" to the flesh who wouldn't think twice of doing that also.

Of course she is going to get stick because it's always going to be assumed it was an immigrant of some description who did the deed. Fair chance it was in reality but without a body on show with some proof it just plays into the hands of those who want it to be anyway. ISIS of course wants the west to think they can do anything at will in their country whether it was them or not.

I dont think its just Muslim men who do that.. Plenty of that goes on in the UK.. Well Merkel upset the majority by letting so many in.. now she may pay the price

What do you do though? Men, women and children are being slaughtered in Aleppo but this guy had destroyed whatever documents he had and couldn't be sent back because nobody could prove where he's come from. How do you sort one from the other?

There is not an easy way to sort any of them out. Even if there was away, some who are intend on causing these type of acts will get through. Very difficult and we just have to keep going on with our lives and be a bit vigilant.. You can't stop a lorry at 40mph no matter what you do..

The Berlin Christmas Street Market are placing big concrete blocks to block vehicle access.

The German police did not search the lorry cab until 24hrs later....the reason was they where trying to preserve DNA for sniffer dogs to use.....this of course gave the driver the opportunity to make his escape.....the police thought they had already caught the culprit so weren't looking anymore.

So Sam Allardyce is favourite for the C Palace job......personally I hope he doesn't get it.....in fact I still think he shouldn't get any job in UK football.

He'll find some angle to work to his favour.....how could C Palace and their owners ever know what he's into in the transfer market deals etc.

Tickets for Anfield safely in the bag-remarkably cheap; in fact it is costing more for the rail ticket from Manchester to Liverpool than it is to get into the match!

In this case it has feck all to do with open borders. It had more to do with the fact they picked a bloke up who was a dead ringer for a terrorist because he was muslim looking. That bloke was stood around looking at all the bare flesh planning his next rape so was asking to be arrested. Meanwhile, the real culprit who nobody was rushing to look for had a great deal of time to make his escape and given the time lapse could have been in Australia by the time they started. Except the Aussies wouldn't have let him in ...........

I was looking at the ticket prices for the Anfield game last night lyndhurst and thought the same as you. They are more than reasonable in price for the game. I'd bet Mr Brent would have liked another fiver bunged on. I've decided I won't be going. This is more to do with the time of day they are kicking off thanks to TV. Argyle get £164k for the broadcast so I will forgive them this time. I will be adjourning to the bar in the Hyde Park Social Club once more in the hope that it has become the lucky venue. I don't fancy forking out for a hotel and going up the day before thus increasing the cost to watch Liverpool Reserves.

25% of the available Anfield tickets were sold in the first hour....

I'm waiting for clarification: all 3 of us have been White members for 3 years but we often take my daughter's boyfriend with us (including the Wembley play-off and the Newport game at Home Park). He isn't a member but ironically trains with club as 14 year old. Obviously both he and she want to go to Anfield, It seems I have to wait for the tickets go on general sale. I know no system is perfect but it seems a bit harsh....

An amusing Christmas card arrived this morning......

Picture of the three kings (or magi) standing outside the stable.....one of them has brought along a giant with a bolt through his neck.

One of the other kings says.........." No, you idiot FRANKINCENSE !...you were bringing FRANKINCENSE !

    Tickled my fancy anyrate.

The whole ticket thing has been a bit of a farce, I wont/cant apportion blame but there is a 45 page thread about it on PASOTI. The only thing that has annoyed me a little was that the 'best' seats were only released today so those of us that were quick of the mark were forced to sit in a less favorable area. Pretty certain I will have a decent view but for whatever reason it has been a bit of a farce!

You're just being kind about Argyle once more lyndhurst as is normally your way. This is just like Wembley which was equally a farce. Argyle seem unable to organise the proverbial pee up in a brewery. They are always the same and seem to have either little planning ability or regard for their supporters. It has to be one or the other. I do find this is football in general though. How can it be so difficult to sort out the sale of a few thousand tickets for christ sake. Good job they don't have to plan an invasion of Liverpool or else the team would never even get there.

To be fair, the ticketing website is largely outside their control and most of the problems appear to have been with Ticketmaster and/or Liverpool FC. I will say though that the lack of any info coming out of the club today was appalling. Might even write to the CEO and offer my services (for a fee) as a customer liaison manager.
