Not worth a thread of it's own.

I never thought i would say it but Hart man of the match....outsmarting our bumbling defence.

England look a very mediocre team at the moment...Rooney eventually comes on but looks as ordinary as everyone else.

No wonder we have a weak opposition in this Country. The Labour Party can't even do democracy having had somebody voted in by the membership twice and they still can't accept the vast majority vote. I have nothing whatsoever in common with Jeremy Corbyn but I will give him credit for one thing. He actually does believe in what he stands for and does not say something just to be popular with anyone. He won't get involved in name calling of any kind. I may not agree with much he says or thinks but I accept his right to say it and think it.

I'm not sure I get the playing in to Putin's hands bit to be honest. Everyone thinks he's a turd who needs flushing with or without American politics getting in the way. I have never for one minute thought Trump would get elected over there. Nice side show for people to get uptight about in an entertainment way like keeping Jedward in the X Factor competition a few years ago. Gives everyone a laugh now and again. A Monkey could have been the opposition and still beaten him when push comes to shove. Old Hilary is almost as disliked as a person by Americans as he is and she will still walk it. Who will be to blame? His own stupid party for letting him stand in the first place.

And yes Plym the football doesn't merit a thread of it's own. It was half exciting at times in the second division error strewn sort of way Neither side was very good standard wise and Slovenia were he most unlucky of the two. Scotland next apparently. Anyone got any wet paint they need watching?

I feel Vladimir Putin will take every liberty he can get away with at the moment.....at present he is getting away with atrocities in Syria under the guise of fighting ISIL and other terrorist groups and he is building up a strong presence in the middle east....he is showing that he has the authority and that the USA under Obama our powerless to intervene.

With Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump throwing mud at each other to be the leader of the free world....I'm sure that Putin cannot believe that the USA will be electing the wife of a proven womaniser or Trump a maverick of the first order to be the next American president.

Clinton is hated by many Americans and Trump has been literally cast out by the Republican party as their candidate and has a core following of genuine fruit and nutters that Walt Disney couldn't have invented for a cartoon comedy....both are in the 'marmite' brigade....you either like em or hate them.

The world is going to be a far more dangerous place with either in charge.....can you imagine Trump in charge of the nuclear codes to start armageddon.

Thing is Plym Trump won't be in charge of anything. He has no real chance of election. As for being the wife of a womaniser is that actually her fault? That's like saying if your son or daughter murders somebody then you assisted in it just because of association. Putin is getting away with what he's doing because the rest of the World do not want to get into another Iraq or Afghanistan. They don't like what they see but don't want to intervene militarily to stop it. I didn't vote for the first lot of conflict and it certainly was never done in my name. I would not want this Country to be involved anymore than it is now despite me thinking the pictures we see are horrendous. It's supposed to be what we have a UN for.

I watched the Barcelona v Man City match this evening on the BT freeview channel. Not often they give a match view away so was a bit surprised it was this one.

Anyway, Man C are supposed to be our best at the moment. Well they are top. 4 - 0 and it could have been more. It wasn't as if Barca were a class apart particularly but Man C gifted them most of the goals by making stupid mistakes. Old Lionel Messi with his hattrick, 37th for them apparently, and the commentators were trying to say he was having an off night and was quiet. Would hate to play against him if he was trying. Scored 3, laid on the 4th and won a penalty which Naemar missed. The Man C keeper, Bravo who was once of Barca, did a walkabout and saved a lob outside his box deliberately from a complete cock-up he had made. Automatic Red and if the game wasn't over before that at 3 - 0 it soon was after. Man C were absolute crap and I think their manager was totally embarrassed.

Just to even things up a bit I watched Man U (althought I can't believe I did) on the same BT sport freeview this evening. They won 4 - 1 and were gifted the game pretty much by a Turkish side that didn't seem to want anything out of the game in the first half. Mostly I watched the second half and it was as boring as ****. The game was as good as over in the first half. Another hour of my life spent wasting time. At my age I'm going to have to stop doing this and do something meaningful. Despite the scoreline I thought MU were poorish and nothing like the attacking side of old. It does seem to be the modern way to slow everything down and pass the feck out of the ball.

    Now now notdistant.

I would never never ever ever put on a premiership shirt or any other shirt for that matter Joe. As for getting Sky well just wash your mouth out and as retribution I'm not going to put my heating on for another 2 weeks at least.

Just been reading on the beeb that Exeter fans want their Board to renegotiate Tisdale's contract. Nobody said at their meeting that they wanted to get rid of him said their Chairman. Of course they don't. Is the bloke a pillock? They think it is not right to disclose the terms of an employee's contract. Yea right (again). It seems to be fairly common knowledge that it's lucrative for league two and is a 2 year rolling one so any payoff for getting rid would be steep. Why else would anyone want to renegotiate it other than to reduce the getting rid costs. Why on earth would Tisdale even agree to new terms unless they were better than he has now anyway. That's a bit Turkey voting for Christmas. He isn't going to walk away is he so one day they are going to have to bite the bullet.

Don't want to see them in the Conference personally. I know it's Exeter but it is a Devon side even if a bad one.

That is the point Joe. We would be the only league club in the whole of Devon and Cornwall if it happened. It wouldn't do us any favours supporter wise so having another league club has to be the best option. I think the thing about Exeter is they cannot support both a Rugby club and Football club. The Rugby club is outdoing the football one at the minute so it is bound to suffer because of it.

Surely Jose Mourinho realized that with his family established in London and at School & Uni etc that being in the Lowry Hotel in Manchester would create problems and loneliness for him .....he has been a manager for quite a few years surely he had worked it out.

Struggling along in a suite in a flash hotel at a reported £1000 a night must be tough.....but someones got to do it.
