The secret is to buy all of your socks with the same pattern on them. If you get a hole in the toe of one and not the other all is not lost and you just wait for another hole and put the two sound socks together. Us poor peasants have to think of those things if we can afford socks of course.............

I see Boris has been fined along with his Missus and mate Rushi. It was a pleasure to see him squirm when interviewed but like a true Tory Boy he wouldn't do the decent thing. Lets see how many have got any balls on the back benches now. I make it probably odds on it's none of them.

To save ending up with odd socks.....wear them all week.....and in the winter keep them on in bed....of course this requires you to cut down on the use of water by bathing or showering only once a week....too much washing causes the Samson effect....just weakens the body.

I couldn't get very excited by PartyGate originally compared to the clusterf**ks of Brexit and its aftermath and the current mismanagement of the economy to try to be in a position to buy the next election.

However, what has become evident is that this government is incompetent. It literally couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery and this incompetence spreads to all areas of activity. We need people who lack the bravura to wing it on a popular satirical show but who actually pay attention to the detail and employ people who do the same. Someone who takes advice from people that know stuff, not editorials in the Mail, Express and Telegraph. In short, we need a statesman not a huckster politician.

I told you ages ago that Boris was really Jonah and was useless at everything. I knew you would agree in the end. The man is a joke and that isn't what you need to run a Country in good times let alone in times like now. He is surrounded by idiots who simply feed him his rubbishness (is that a word). Why did they let him leave Ukraine.

Just half-watching a recording of Wigan v Cambridge, shown yesterday on Cough-Cough Sports.

What these Great Big Teams do bring to League 1 is Great Big Empty Stadiums you have to admit. I thought Covid was back fir a minute.

I think he should go anyway never mind what Putin says. Boris has a track record for ignoring rules as none of them apply to him so just give him a plane ticket and wave him off having told him it's not allowed for ordinary folk.

One of the things I was sorting out due to having a new phone is the Flight Radar app. Rather nerdish but it tells you what aircraft are flying over your house just as ship tracker apps will tell you what's in the Sound and beyond.

There's an Italian G550 signals intelligence aircraft orbiting at 41,000 feet over Eastern Romania and a NATO E3A Sentry doing the same a bit further south. I wonder what they are peering at across Moldova and the Black Sea respectively?

Flight Radar blimey.....we might even be able phone people next....I've been told by my grandchildren that texting is out of date......everyones on WhatsApp now granddad......you can add photos so easily to it as well.

That Flight Radar sounds interesting....especially seeing we live under the flight path to Biggin Hill.....which has been trying to turn itself into a major Airport for years.....bringing jobs to the area and trying to get Bromley Council to allow them to expand and grow.....there is a continual battle between....the Airport...the Council...and all the effected Resident Associations about noise levels and frequency of flights.

There is one aircraft I would love to recognize.....medium sized with twin engines with backward facing propellers that makes an incredible amount of noise.....within ten minutes or so it takes off again and seems more like a bus route than an aircraft....probably carries something like 50/60 passengers.

I doubt if the App is available on my phone....probably the more expensive models like what you would buy notDistant ...?

Saw this on Twitter. Certainly very premature to think where we’d fit but it says a lot about the horrific state of Championship finances.

Funny olde world we live in.

A few years back it was a novelty to have a layer of red dust on your car, windows and garden furniture.....dust from the Sahara we were told.

Recently we have had similar red dust...but every day for a couple of months continually......but no mention of it on the news anymore.

Will there be a day when there is none left out in Africa and we will start to see Bedouin herdsmen with their Camels roaming around SE England.

Given the Westminster News of late I was wondering if "Tractor Boys" was really a nickname for Ipswich or a porn site for MPs. Anyone want to ask their forum?

Have been listening to PMQs today and following the Sue Gray report stuff on the tele. Firstly what a lying scumbag of a man Boris is. "Humbled" he doesn't know the meaning of the word. Integrity anyone? Nah nothing to see there. Honesty? Nope. Statesmanship? You must be feckin joking. It was almost sick making to watch him. Then there is his cohorts sat in the rear. What a spineless bunch of no marks they are with maybe only a couple of exceptions. What has this Country come to when somebody like Boris is left in charge of the place. There is only one defence for the rest of the Tory MPs. They look around at the rest of the Cabinet and there isn't one single person in post who has any better ideas or moral compass than he has so to oust one and find a replacement would be worse than difficult.

Just reporting that all is well here in BC.
Fishing last week for Rainbow Trout was a success, so with the price of food nowadays that helped.
Thanks for keeping me up to date with Argyle Etc..
With some players leaving the club, lets hope we get good money for them.
    Bye for now.

    Hi BC.....

News slow at the moment.....I assume players and some staff will be holidaying at present......players contracts I think will see them through until the end of June.....that's when we'll see some movement in the playing staff.....some might get offers and leave.....and that's when we'll see incoming players as well.

Well that was a different afternoon.

Noticable drop in temperature about 3pm....became darkish and then the sky opened and it chucked down hailstones for ten minutes.....enough to cover the lawn white for awhile.....and then heavy rain for the next two hours....difficult driving with the roads turning into running rivers.

And tomorrow is JUNE the 1st I believe.
