While they’re in the mood, they should give him next year’s too.

In the French news tonight there is an interview with Chris Froome indicating that he could leave team Ineos before the Tour, and there are two other teams that would take him on with open arms.

He didn't say. I think his contract finishes this year and it could be a ploy to get more money. Or it could be that he doesn't think the team will be prepared to put everything behind him as leader. Wait and see I think.

The questions that this 14 day isolation raises leaves things like F1 in limbo until the government makes up it's mind just what it will do. Having allowed football in Liverpool against most advice, they are no doubt very wary of getting it wrong a second time.

Australia's NRL competition restarted yesterday - and has put the jitters up me already.

My favoutites, the previously unbeaten Brisbane Broncos, were thrashed 6-34 at home. :(

Cricket highlights on the BBC from July 8th - test and ODI matches.

Must be a first for a while.

I presume this will be played as exhibition games for former players?

    Bit like beach football.

Surely they cannot fit another type into the Professional game ?!

Beach football is quite a thriving sport in other countries - especially those with the weather and the beaches I suppose..

You might be right about these being exhibition games, but if the paying public take to it, that will be the deciding factor. Could be another nail in the coffin of Test Cricket.

That is true - anything that is popular and makes money !

Typical - the return of Test Cricket today and rain has limited play to 17 overs...<laugh>

It's that time of year where you play the "how many wickets will go down whilst you do something else?" game !

    England 87-5
