    Archer has really proved to be a bit of a star. Smith retired after being hit on the neck by a 96 mph ball from the fast bowler.

    Just seen the Archer-Smith incident... need to keep an eye on Smith as that was a nasty whack right on the carotid line.

    Proper nasty. Hope he’s OK. McGrath treading on a cricket ball is one thing, but I hope Smith isn’t out of the Ashes via this. I thought it caught his jaw, but as Fez says, it was in a dangerous area blood vessel-wise.
