That has to rank among the finest England rugby team performance of the last ten years - they were exceptional.
Another international for Middlesex, although not the overseas player for the 2019 season: https://www.middlesexccc.com/news/2019/02/rayner-revels-in-opportunity-with-germany-national-side
Rayner will have retired before that happens - in terms of World Cricket, Germany are at least 2 levels below Jersey.
Another very good day for the English cricket team. Maybe they should have had some proper warm ups before the test series started.
Vaughan pretty much said that - they were clearly complacent and probably expected to turn up and win without much sweat. Only hope this potential win doesn't paper over the cracks.
Amazing victory for Sri Lanka yesterday, and as it's a 2 match series they cannot lose it. Some of England's top order could look at Kusal Perera's innings (ironic, given SLs batting against England) - he was part of an unbeaten last wicket partnership of 78, of which the #11 got 6 and 4 of those were overthrows!
Hmm... got to say Wales deserved that win on the 2nd half performance. England didn't really threaten .
Generally I'd agree but I think the referee made a couple of calls that favoured the Welsh which didn't help. Overall no complaints.
Shame this is only for the first 7 games (if Middlesex show their usual white ball form, they won't make it to the later stages):https://www.middlesexccc.com/news/2019/02/middlesex-sign-ab-de-villiers-for-2019-vitality-blast Edit: Just looked at the Middlesex T20 fixtures - the 7 games are within the space of just 3 weeks.
I guess Tiger Woods can say - form is temporary, class is permanent! Very impressive to win the Masters against such a stellar field. For somebody who hasn't always been the most engaging and a bit robotic he certainly showed a lot of emotion at the end.
