I've just seen the result of the British & Irish Cup semi-final involving Jersey Reds - they lost 29-27 to Leinster A. Jerzeypie isn't going to be happy - neither are his Mum and Grandad who decided to go to the game as part of their visit from France.
These guys deserve all plaudits that come their way - and look at the comments about them still willing to make time for the fans despite being tired. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/ice-hockey/43938114 I watched their games when I was able to, which were on Free Sports. IMO, they should get team of the year at SPOTY, especially as they didn't even qualify for the Winter Olympics, but it'll probably go to Citeh.
Someone please inform the weather god it's the cricket season. Siddle bowled in a beanie hat this morning!
Must be one of the longest ever gaps between winning World titles for Mark Williams. Was 28 when he last won it until now at the age of 43.
Our fellow WFC supporter got his first win as Middlesex captain yesterday, with a 70 run win over Kent in the one-day cup. He had plenty of advice available, with Eoin Morgan and former Middlesex captain James Franklin in the team. I think it's affecting his bowling, as in the 2 games he's been captain he's gone for 75 off 15 overs without taking a wicket.
A new British cycling star? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/44215971 And he is British born too ..
Hmm.. different team , place but same old story ! Maybe Pakistan will struggle as well though. Bad toss call number 1234?
