Who says that there is no excitement in the five day game. Much better than all this limited overs stuff. Just wished that I knew who some of the players were.
As much as I like to see England do well, as a Middlesex fan it's disappointing that the only Middlesex player likely to play in a Lord's test this year will be wearing the baggy green.
We were doing well in the County Championship last year before the start of the disastrous limited overs campaign and if it wasn't for Rogers undefeated 238 against Yorkshire, we would now be a Division 2 side.
Malan has never met the promise shown in his first season - I think, while he's out injured, he needs to speak to a fellow left-handed batsman who played with him for Middlesex and will be at HQ quite a lot with his new job - I wonder who fits those requirements?
I love cricket but an not a county fan but if I was it'd be middlesex! When I was at school I was the cricket team scorer, it was a good way to spend time with boys! Lol
I know he divides opinion but I love the way Andy Murray is getting to the latter stages of tournaments so regularly. Great to see a British player involved in such an amazing era. And yes BB - when he loses I will slate the Scottish git
I did watch some of the French coverage which is rather different to the Beeb at Wimbledon. Lots of ooh la la. Murray was looking good I thought seeing as he was never happy on clay. When will he learn a little French though?
I have never liked Murray but have to admit he is a superb player and his clay court play has improved no end - shame he is such a dour git though.
On Channel Television news, which broadcasts from Jersey, when Heather Watson is doing well, she's a Channel Islander, when she's doing badly, she's a Sarnian.
