A bit of a surprise - Windies won by 8 runs, with the only real resistance coming from Smith who carried his bat for 91.
Fantastic for the young bowler who retired hurt in their second innings too - in spite of having a damaged toe, he took 7 for 68 to clean the Aussies up. They may have to rethink their batting lineup. Hadn't been following the England v India test, but looking at the score, it's looking likely that England could win it.
A rather embarrassing defeat for England in the ICC U19 World Cup. Batting first, Australia scored 266/6 in their 50 overs - then bowled England out for 104 after 16.5 overs.
Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/68169534 Wonder how he will work with Mercedes this season then and feel for Carlos Sainz knowing he could do really well but still be kicked out by Ferrari .
Game of two halves - a bit of a comeback by Wales. 12-27 Wales' points scored whilst Scotland down to 14 men. Now Scotland down to 14 again - not sure why ..
Or Wales did - thought Scotland had scored with the last play of the game. Will have to read up on those yellow card rules.
I didn't mean Wales were leading - they were hanging on for the last few minutes under intense pressure. The point about the ball being held up is, in my mind, debatable - it clearly touched the grass and the grass is on the ground. The rule has no doubt changed since I last played in Queensland, but refs would only rule held up if part of an opponent's body was under the ball.
Those watching on TV saw exactly the same as the TMO - yes there was a leg there but the ball came down one side of it - a bit tough i thought, but again, maybe the rules have changed.
