I've noticed that some here are very interested in other sports. Feel free to discuss other sports on here (I like to think of this as a forum for horse racing fans to share, rather than just a forum to discuss only horse racing). I'm happy to have an index to cover other sports and to put direct links to other sports forums where non horse racing folk come together to share views. So, for example, if you wanted to discuss snooker, we could have a Snooker Thread where we could discuss amongst ourselves but also include links to other forums where you can already share views etc with non horse racing folk.

Eg
Snooker Thread
World Championships (link to relevant thread on this forum.
Snooker World Championships - Betting Forum
Snooker World Championships Draw - Snooker Forum
Snooker Forum

Just a thought before I work out the best way to structure it. Views/ideas welcome.

Greyhound racing isn't even covered on this site so we could have an index for that, if anyone is interested.

I am very much into all sports Ron and not just to have a bet on them. I do bet on a few sports, the horse racing, golf, football and snooker, but i very rarely bet on rugby, cricket or most other sports. But i do have a very keen interest in all sports its not just from a betting point of view. The Olympic thread will be a good idea as i would imagine a lot of interest will be generated from it.

Snooker is prob my main sport from playing and watching. I do know a number of professional snooker and pool players, and like the people on this forum who have contacts with the horse world, lean towards that sport more.

My problem is when im out i dont mind saying what i think in regards to who will win this, or not... Or which team is better or not.. Opinions make us talk and thats what its about to me, although i know when im out my depth in certain subjects/sports and will listen to those who i think know much, much more than me... I know it can get heated but the horse racing threads from time to time have produced some wonderful and creative points/arguements in the past...

I think its a good idea Ron...<ok>
