He was up at the front driving quick. That's Massa levels which is fine but the challenge is to show how he can really race. Bottas has failed imo to show either. A bit of pace but in the vastly superior car and rarely challenging hamilton who has it all. Norris is like leclerc where he can just rifle through the field. Hopefully Russell can prove something today. Theres a very big choice coming now. This is going to be a safety car start imo and imo everyone will dive for the pits for inters after the safety car comes in. It's going to be dangerous chaos around the mechanics which is f1 being stupid whereas drivers in cars are not risked. The bright or wrong decision at the start will decide a lot today imo. The cars behind safety car will have ice cold tyres. If they put to get warm tyres they will fly. I would have a standing start here just for the fun of it. I dont have to fix the things
Eh ... me?? Race hasn't started yet (I meant the chaos has even before the race has), they're currently p*ssing about with umbrellas and marquees and still sitting on the grid
Fair enough, I just saw something about Perez binning it and quickly flicked my screen so I didn't see any more. I'll be watching it later when it's on channel 4
Fair comment, but it showed he can handle it at the front as well as the back and he has tried to be racy where possible in what's a very limited Williams offering. Bottas is still the driver Mercedes knew they were signing, the decision will be whether they want to bring in Russell who will give Lewis a harder time and be more wolfish and stake a claim or keep Bottas who is basically a tame dog. Seems like they're going to do laps behind the SC until they've cleared some water then have a standing start. They should just let them fly and have at it, definitely agree.
They really have become a bunch of Pussies The year Schumacher went to beat the **** out of coulthard it was training worse than this.
Brindle. I've started plenty of races in conditions worse than this. I've watched vettels car driving round on formation lap.on sky. This is far far too cautious
This is worse than the american debacle with the tyres nd the schmacher/barrichello things the end that ended f1 in the us for a decade. This is pure and utter rubbish
Sigh. They have postponed the clock cos they have realised they have ****ed this. Lashed round in medical car a few times. Doing nothing still.
What's happened? Just gone to my recording and it's Holiday homes in Spain or some crap! Edit; never mind, looked on Sky Sports now. Waited all day for that ****!
Yup. Absolute rubbish and cowardice. There I said it. It was not that bad when they gave up and they chlould have cleared a line and done a bullish wet weather race. They instead sat a out on social media like spoiled brats.
Complete let down, yes. Fortunately I gave up and decided to go out before they tried to have a race again. Total waste of time and an utter disappointment. Truly we are now in an age of softness and pandering. They used to race in similar, perhaps worse conditions than today when the cars were way less safe. I feel for the spectators at the track who sat out getting soaking wet and cold for hours and hours, don't suppose they'll be getting a refund either.
I switched from F1 to 3D Botmaker's "King of the Mountain" last year. Much better racing, much better commentary, much more real.
I think football needs a safety car equivalent. Perhaps Everytime someone is injured the referee gets to dribble the ball around the field and all the other footballers have to jog behind him. If someone gets injured in the first minute and stays injured all 90 minutes the win gets assigned to whoever won the coin toss.
