I half did with Alaphilippe, didn't foresee Froome cracking like that though, you could say there hadn't been previous signs but perhaps the signs were that he hadn't tried for any serious solo attacks at all and just stayed behind the team Thomas has got 2mins + on the other GC guys now, he'll have to fall off or something now for them to catch him. He's a good TTer, good enough for them not to put that much time into him on that stage. And he's currently the strongest climber out of those guys given how he went with Dumoulin to ride away from Froome then had the legs to ride away from Dumoulin
i was surprised by Alaphilippe tbh as i dinn't expect him to have much left after previous couple of days assumed he would just mark Bargueil. Just need Thomas to have one more good day in the mountains & then Chapeau Geraint PS oh & to the Frogs.
Froome struggles again but G now surely only has to do a competent TT and Le Tour is his which i'm sure will go down like a mug of cold sick Les Frogs
Great ride by Froome to move back up to 3rd Thomas does enough though probably could have won stage if he wasn't playing safe in the damp areas. Chapeau Geraint Sheepshaggers 1 Frogs 0
parker is done. Whyte is a grinder. I'm not quite sure what he can do next given the stat of the titles now. Inevitably there will either be a clash between joshua and wilder or wilder and whyte. The question is when? If wilder runs scared then whyte has to be on his list as a manditory i believe. That could be april. If Joshua and wilder do fight in April and joshua comes out with all 4 belts there is going to be a queue of fighters for the titles. Whyte will need some fight early next year which put any porposed bout with joshua out to late next year.
id say he's in there every week asking to piss in something and have his prostate poked.... hard. nurses love that filth.
