I don't know how many of you have played snooker regularly, but this clearance by Ronnie O'Sullivan is the most amzing thing I have ever seen on the green baize. Stunning.

Huge snooker fan Oddy. In full flow Ronnie is a fair sight to see isn't he. World cup is on now in China but it's on too early to watch live and I only can catch 5 mins before I head to work in the morning.

Yeah, fecking China <laugh>

Can't you watch it on time-lapse after work? Fast-forward through the safety exchanges <ok>

I don't tend to watch events unless I catch them live. I will already have looked at the result and that does me.

I like the safety aspect btw <ok>

Absolutely love these massive J Class yachts. The clip below if sees the legendary Endeavour at sea. Of the original 10 built in the 30s, only Endeavour, Shamrock 5 & Valsheda have survived. 6 new Js have build in the last 13 years. A little lifted info first.

Endeavour was commissioned by Sir T.O.M. Sopwith to challenge for the America’s Cup in 1934. Having prepared his campaign in Shamrock V, Sopwith was keen to ensure that this yacht was the most advanced design possible. With his experience designing aircraft Sopwith applied aviation technology to Endeavour’s rig and winches and spared nothing to make her the finest vessel of her day. From launching in 1934 she continued her preparation by competing against Shamrock V (then owned by Sir Richard Fairey) and the newly launched Velsheda (owned by W.L Stephenson).

She swept through the British racing fleet and into the hearts of yachtsmen the World around, winning many races in her first season. Like many before her, Endeavour did not win the Cup but she came closer to doing so than any other challenger.

Currently viewing a selection of Lionel Messi's goals from 'La Liga' on Sky Sports. Most of his goals are 'passed' into the net!

Has cheered me up after feeling crap for three days following a fairly extended session.

Considered the 'Arts' thread for this post!

Especially from the triumvirate of Argentine geniuses; Alfredo Di Stefano, Diego Armando Maradona; and Lionel Messi!

The heavyweights are all starting to hit their straps in the lead up to the Worlds in London. The men's 1500m in Monaco saw easily the fastest run this year. I can't wait for the games to begin.

After dominating the Men's 3000m Steeplechase for what seems like forever, the Kenyans might have a serious fight on their hands in the Worlds. The American Evan Jager I think may have put the frighteners on the Africans with this run.
