Cracking centre back if you can get his head right and get him settled. But typical of many mavericks, he is a bit touched. So when things go awry (it appears to be a contract issue in this case), he has the potential to just be a knacker. Its like Ben Arfa, just for a defender. At his best for Chelsea, he gave some of the best defensive performances seen in the PL. Literally had everything. Sadly it doesn't make you a good player. Being capable is great, but delivering it is kinda of important. He could have been a Ferrari in the 80's. Instead he's an Alfa Romeo in the 80's. Very talented but always broken.
Teams below us all have some tough games today - Watford currently level with Leicster at the break but being dominated. Brighton vs Arsenal next and Aresnal don't have Luiz so the Gunners are in luck, West Ham have Wolves later which could be tricky for the Hammers, Bounrmenouth finish the days football bonanza against Palace. With a bit of luck and results going our way we could be 8-11 points clear with 8 games to go by the end of tomorrow and some favorable fixtures to come.
