been watching only few minutes, but to me they seem to be creating more than Burnley. did they start that bad?
They certainly improved after the first few minutes that's for sure! I've switched off now, so I'll have to check the result later.
They're my tip to go down, 2 wins in 27 or something which is why our team against them was hilarious. Just seen their last 3 games, Brighton away, Wigan away and then Charlton home on the last day, they could be down before then.
So at Wolves, with a couple of hat-tricks, Dicko and Agard had to fight over the match ball? I see Rotherham brought on Tom Hitchcock @ 77 mins and they scored a couple of late goals to pull the game back to 4-4 only to lose 6-4 in extra time, so a tough game for them.
Burnley have just won at Blackpool, so it's definitely the play offs for us! Have to say, having watched the 2nd half, I really find the Burnley players quite a disagreeable bunch!
been much worse since Vokes got himself injured, they were very lucky he didn't croke earlier in season
Agreed. My lad pointed out just how important Vokes is to them when we watched them at LR. He made a lot of chances for Ings.
Watched the last 20 mins, good on Burnley, they deserve promotion. What a stop that was by Trippier on the line. That blond lad, Perkins, put in some decent crosses for Blackpool. Pre-season to keep my Bet365 account active for live streaming purposes, I wagered $1 on Burnley @ 50/1 as champions and $2 @ 14/1 for promotion, so in hindsight I should have been bolder! I see Bet365 are having a real Championship day as they are also streaming Doncaster v Derby in 10 mins.
Wolves are certainly coming back to the Championship with a bang - 30,110 at Molineux today for that 6-4 victory over Rotherham. I wonder if they will complete that stadium expansion project now? Shaun Derry's Notts County gave up a late goal to lose 2-1 at Bristol City - their situation doesn't look good to escape the drop. Hopefully we won't be playing Championship derbies against our West London neighbours Brentford & Fulham next season?
At least Donny are attempting to take the game to Derby. A glass or two of Merlot would be nice, perhaps later - I'm getting sent out after this game to pick up steaks from the only butcher open on public holidays to cook on our patio BBQ, that I recently dug out from 4 feet of snow/ice. At least a rather late Spring is finally in the air here.
No wehave been off the boil for a few weeks now, kinda seemed like we might have peaked too soon. But they played like a weight had been lifted today. Looks increasingly like we'll be meeting in the playoff semis now. I think I'd prefer your lot over two legs you've got too many decent players for a one off game.
