This forum seems busy to me - 'cos you can miss a lot of stuff if you're offline for a coupla days - but I was thinking just last night: 1/ How many regularly post? Any idea? 2/ How many readers/members do we have?
On the old version of this site we used to be able to check how many registered City fans there were at any given time, but there's no such facility on this version. It was over 2,500 before the site switched over, so it will be somewhere between 2,500-3,000.
All boards are like that, some post regularly, some post occasionally and some just register to read, this is very busy board by any measure.
Hasn't changed much then from when we were on it ten years ago. I think the small clique that ran it kicked us both off for offending them Peter
That's for sure. Thank god for this forum. It has a nice mix of posters and topics and even the petty inter-personal bickering seems to have eased off recently. By far the best board I've ever been on. Now if we could only see the same quality in our management team!!

In my case Chazz I was told I was not welcome for disagreeing with Gretton over something...I cant remember the details. I think it was more a case of me deciding to leave rather than be actually "thrown off". Peter probably remembers more about it. He continued to forward all the nasty things they were saying about me after my departure...as he still read the board although I didn't.
Was it "Greton" or that arsewipe "Ghurkin" Roger? I got banned from the "BigSoccer" Boards in the USA for having the temerity to suggest that Altidore wasn't a strikers arsehole at top level.
No Laurie it was definitely Gretton. Most people had problems with Ghurkin but mainly because they couldn't understand what he was arguing about most of the time...very strange character. I know I disagreed with you about Jozy after his sterling season at Alkmaar where he scored some truly spectacular goals, but that proved to be a one-off and he's been dismal ever since. You were right...he flattered to deceive.
My wife who was posting on Hull CityMad in July 2013 remembers some details CT. You were involved in a lively spat with a poster(SpruceBruce) and then Admin(Gretton?) who gave you a yellow card for dissent. You then engaged in further dispute on this matter with Admin and were red-carded. You could have returned after the red card ban time ended but you never did, having joined the board in 2004. A couple of months later TigerRoo posted on there that you had suffered a serious heart attack but were recovering and you received several favourable comments from board posters saying you were missed and should come back. So something to balance any nasty things said!
