Go Ahead Eagles are currently playing Aston Villa in the Europa League.
That moniker is as good as it gets for outlandish club names and up there with Kaiser Chiefs FC.
And Go Ahead went ahead, stayed ahead and won.

Villa beat by a bus company's team. And Go Ahead went ahead, stayed ahead and won.
Sheffield Wednesday file for administration.
12 points being reported, which puts them on -6.No surprise. How many points deducted for that, 10 or 20?
Either way will be in negative points and won't get back from that.

The club itself may have but you’ve got to feel for their fans. Through no fault of theirs, they give the club cash to support them, and they’re almost an afterthought.Got away lightly IMO.

Nope, I remember February 1982 like it was last week, we'd just had a 5-2 win against Hartlepool (Sir Les Mutrie scored four) and the same week we became the first club of those times to enter administration. No points penalty in those days though. Went through it all again with Hinchliffe and Buchanan, and wouldn't be too surprised to see history repeated. You must be a Swansea fan then.
Twice!!!The worst surely was swansea- they left local traders out of pocket. Shameful behaviour, hiding behind the corporate shield. The directors should have done the decent thing and paid out of their own pockets and the club thrown out of the league.

(wonder if any were against usNever mind the money, that's love of the game.Incredible feat(wonder if any were against us
