I see that Everton’s 10 point deduction has been reduced to six. Whether or not we all agree with this, I think it’s good that the decision is made now and not towards the end of the season.
Totally agree Irish. Leaving thing until the end of the season leaves the powers that be open to accusations of favouritism and corruption. We all know they're above such things
My problem with this is it does not relate to the season when they broke the rules. If it was last season then Leicester would not have been relegated.
Love Subbuteo. Not played for years but still have a stack of teams and pitch etc stored away in the loft. Have recently joined a Subbuteo Facebook group and it seems the game is still going strong (though appears to be predominantly 30-40+ year old males predominantly keeping it alive).
The Bristol subbuteo club meets at Bristol Manor Farm FC. a number of Cardiff Table Soccer players also attend there regularly. I know many of the older players around the country. These are players I competed against when playing competitively for Cardiff and Wales during the 70's and 80's. I've not been tempted to return to playing but keep an eye on what's going on through various Facebook groups. Never say never but it's unlikely I shall return to playing despite having my teams etc in the attic. I'd rather go motorcycling!
