So I finally succumbed to the temptation of Sky and as a warm up to this afternoon's proceedings, I'm watching the dingdong at Dingwall as Ross County take on Celtic. The Bhoys are whining and cheating like hell. To be honest they look like a lower half Championship side at best..
I think we all said it at the time that he was sold to our gullible directors rather than us seeking him out.
On another point you made earlier - I've no idea of your personal circumstances but from what you've shared with us on here previously, I'm so glad you've "succumbed" to Sky to help you follow City this season. It's not perfect but with the new additional coverage on the Sky+ channel, you'll get a lot of opportunities to view the games live - and hopefully get some enjoyment from an upturn in our form!
Masky? Who's that? Got Sky Go courtesy of my brother in law sharing. But can only get it on my phone. Disappeared off my lap top for some reason. Strangely the picture and sound is much better on my phone.
O'Dowda withdrawn from RoI squad due to fitness issues. He didn't look fully fit when he came on the Wurzels and was responsible for allowing the cross when they scored. He now has 11 days to get fit before our next game. Rambo training with the Wales squad but not playing. Likely to be another 3 to 4 weeks before he is able to play again (and get injured). Cynical? Moi?
We need to manage their loading. No doubting that O'Dowda is a good player at this level, but I think with Willock, El Ghazi and Tanner, his game time can be managed. Also, Colwill has earned the right to start at 10. Ramsey needs to prove he's worth a spot. And that should start with appearances off the bench. The starting front 4 look to be a bit more settled. Reindorff needs a chance ahead of Kanga off the bench. Then its down to sorting the holding 2. Siopis another that should be on the bench at best. Robertson is settling but needs more game time in a settled team. Who starts next to him is the question.
Siopis starts for Greece v England tonight. Will be interesting to see how he is used. How long before he gets booked? 15 to 20 minutes is my guess. Goutas not in the squad.
Siopis cropping up from time to time. Doing simple stuff. Getting the ball, giving it to someone else (on his team)
Wish he would do that for us. Started off with Rambo last season and it worked. Rambo was always his out ball. Not much since. England rubbish so far and lucky not to be 1 down courtesy of Pickford cock ip.
That Saka booking is where football should learn from Rugby. 10 mins in the bin for that. As for Siopis. I'd be happy if all he did was win the ball and give it to his partner or one of the front 4. Joe Allan doesn't do much more.
