I was at that game. Maidstone goalie was Dicky Guy, previously of Wimbledon, who made a name for himself saving a Peter Lorimer penalty live on TV in the FA Cup. He later became a builder and decorator, as Richard Guy, and did some work for me at Forest Hill. He's top quality btw. He asked me what happened to spark it off since he didn't see what did, and I told him the usual rumours.
I had a ticket for the replay but couldn't get in through any turnstile, and had to climb through the fence.
