I loved Phil Walker... first black player we signed in a very long time, he got dogs abuse from visiting supporters but what he could do with a football was truly remarkable, to show what a good player he was.. Millwall supporters were gutted when he left them at a time when racism was rife at the Den.
I think you will find racism was rife everywhere not just at the Den, Phil Walker and Trevor Lee were loved at Millwall and a lot of violence broke out when opposing fans abused 'our players', we were a very protective lot back then.

Violence at Millwall, surely not. Am really looking forward to the Millwall games at the Den and the Valley. Even though we always lose them.
