Good luck mate.ive been very ill since April with this stupid trapped nerve giving me constant pain.im only part time and went into work las week for my capability hearing. I have been forced back to work or the sack.yes they can sack me if I can't do my job because I took my retirement pension and only on yearly contract.

 

I hate it when genuine sufferers are kicked when they are down like this, especially when you see people with sod all wrong with them beating the system..

 

Ha ha you stupid git, RAW means a complete file, pre-edited before being processed to J-Peg pr Tiff..

Builder most of my life, after serving my time as a plasterer straight from school.
Maggie tried her best to destroy me and I spent a few years in heavy industry.

ALways took pride in my work but I wouldn't say I loved it, far too much hard graft involved.
(Which is why I'm now fecked with my back. )

Not many have mentioned their dream job.
Mine would have been working for the Forestry Commission.
After I came out of serving my apprenticeship I started looking for higher paid jobs than where I was..
But then my mate heard a whisper there were jobs going with the commission so we both applied and I was accepted.
(He wasn't. so like the good mate I am, I waved him goodbye and headed off to the Lake District. )
Long story short, there was a big older guy in his thirties who was my and the other trainees instructor.
Who took a dislike to me and another lad from Washington for some strange reason. Maybe he didn't like our accents.
Ended up I lasted 6 days before I decked him. hahahaha

I didn't regret it at the time but have done since, as I think I would have stuck it till retirement.

 

Dream job's a good one, tells us a lot about the poster that we don't necessarily know...
