Rarer to not see Go Pro helmet cams nowadays ... they are everywhere. Cyclists have replaced Homosexuals as the suppressed all crying for there justice ... They want evidence today of poor drivers etc ... Its bloody dangerous being a cyclist racing around like madfolk ... sweaty buggers. I drive pass a nutty woman each day who puts her young family in a bloody buggy which she tows ... what are these people thinking?

The bloke raced like a demon in a trenchcoat only to receive a punch to the head ... sort of sums it all up for me

The roads are full of cars with drivers all wanting to get somewhere too fast ... but they pay to do that on roads ... the polluting rotters

The problem is the cycle 'boxes' that go right across the carriageways at junctions are lunacy. If you're anywhere in Central London between 8.00 and 9.00 in the morning the sheer volume of cyclists all claiming their places at the front of the queue of traffic (those that actually stop) makes pulling away from the lights a minefield. They all pull away at different speeds with the dedicated lycra bandits almost elbowing others aside like it's the Tour de France, cars following this are impeded and even passing them with width can elicit a volley of abuse.

Driving a car with a well-known logo on it has it's own dangers of aggression regardless how you drive. I'm pretty easy-going but even I've had to give some of these arseholes a volley now and then, and when you're seeing this day after day it's a miracle so few of them are actually killed.

The worst aspect of all of this is Boris is committed to putting in dedicated cycle lanes with protective kerbs throughout many parts of London in the next five years. There's one on Southwark Bridge and at busy times there are as many cyclists outside it impeding drivers as there are in it impeding each other. This will be London-wide soon and, apart from the massive disruption of roadworks to create them the cost will be picked up by everyone through taxes when cyclists pay absolutely nothing in road tax, insurance or registration fees and can cause accidents and vanish at will...

The cyclist was looking for trouble, hence he went hell for leather to catch up with the car. The motorist should not have reverted to violence, still at least we are not in the USA, one of them would have been shot.
