I really do think that the US have been using Kiev to try goad the Russians into moving into Eastern Ukraine to protect people from obvious attacks on civilians. Makes sense, Sevastopol was a Russian naval base in Crimea before it became part of the Russian federation. The ships are probably for that fleet. Can't deny right now the people of Crimea are far better off atm, not having artillery rockets and white phosphorous dropped on them willy nilly .
