1)Fallen down the side of a mountain in switzerland and saved by a bramble bush..............in shorts! 2)Sky dived 3)Walked on a glacier 4)Appeared on pointless (Head to head first show and 2nd round ignomy the second) 5) Met someone taller than Crouch (see number 4) 6) thrown a rugby ball around with a number of britains strongest men whilst dressed as a viking 7)Played golf with a certain Mr Gunn (He's not a bad player, great bloke too) 8) When I was younger, I nearly died in Bangkok (Food poisoning, don't trust the sausages!) 9) I have seen a number of bands live but my favourites were; Metallica, Aerosmith, Therapy and Terrorvision 10) I have held out uptil now unmarried (36) and have been with my current lass for nearly 8 years, you can't rush these things, I bearly know the girl! After my bro got married last year the pressure is certainly being ramped up! Is looking at wedding dresses and remarking "this ones nice" a hint?? 11) On a relatively recent stag do, when asked what I'd like for my premier inn breakfast went for 10 sausages and scoffed the lot with ten slices of wholemeal bread (well you gotta stay healthy!) 12) Traffic lights in 46 seconds (I've seen it done in 16! monster!) 13) I am a veteran of 4 phalls. (have to say that whilst I love a good indian, the Thai's are the kings of spicy food for me hot any way but ask for Thai style and a bowl of prik nam pla and it'll blow your socks off!) 14) with my brother, once stayed at a friends house set an alarm for 3am nipped out to the car, where we had earlier deposited 177 cans earlier bought and stripped of labels from the local supermarket. Then proceded to stack the tins outside his bedroom door to brick him in! Bah!
We were both promoting our respective books at Hay Festival. I had always adored her and got to put my arm around her waist - my wife even took the pictures - now there is understanding and devotion!
I also saw the Who play live at the Granby Halls in Leicester, 1975 (I think!) in the days when Keith Moon was still with us.... Best concert I've ever been to Saw Rod Stewart and the faces at the Nags Head in Wollaston where the Resident DJ was John Peel I've sailed on a Sanpan on the South China Sea and an Arab Dhow on the Persian Gulf I've seen the Panama Canal Been a passenger in a lotus esprit driven round the factory test track by the factories test driver (scared the crap out of me!) Drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles along Route 1 in a bright red soft top mustang (and got horribly sunburnt in the process) Flown in a helicopter and a hot air balloon
1. Seen Deep Purple live in London and Melbourne 2. Got lost in the Pilbara (Australian bush) on my birthday 3. Been to an archaeology dig in Sedgeford (North Norfolk) every year since I was 14, even though I have lived in Australia for 2 1/2 years 4. Made FC United of Manchester multiple european champions on football manager 09 5. Met redruthyella for the first and only time where we traveled from Cornwall to Poulton to see Norwich win in the FA cup
