OK, classic childrens entertainment theme continued. Who said 'Hello birds, hello sky'? Any fule kno this. Clue, its not Armand Traore.

Molesworth, my hubbie quotes ad nauseum...hate it

That's just male behaviour Beth, if not Molesworth, Monty Python or my particular weaknesses, Withnail and I/Spinal Tap would be quoted.....endlessly. It's how we communicate without sharing any information about ourselves, and identify men from the same clan as ourselves. Once at that stage we engage in anecdote competitions, as you can see very clearly from this board.

It is Molesworth, but he's not the character who says "hello birds, hello sky"....

So taking your adviced I asked my man (him of the Molesworth clan) and he said it is Basil Fotherington-Thomas.

So will ask the man for a question whilst you tell me if he is right

From he of the "Molesworth Clan"... (and relates to his most recent Geekiness)

Who, according to his mother, was born in a KMart in Galveston, Texas.

I'm sure this is Sheldon Cooper...you know me to be a very smart man. Don't you think that if I were wrong, I'd know it?

Neither are members of the Commonwealth/ both resigned or withdrew or whatever from it.

As any fule kno.

Both had a bail out/both had a property boom and bust/Guinness is the drink of choice in both countries.......am I close?????

Stan is probably right on this one....although other equally right answers may be

Never having won the World Cup (neither football, rugby or ski-ing)
Not having an Eagle on their Flag (or a blkackbird, blue tit or giant panda)
Not being governed by a Noel Edmonds (or by Mark Hughes)

Both having coast lines on the Atlantic Ocean
Both having economies dominated by farming, fishing, and tourism
Or I have really good friends in both (Afua and Teresa)...guess which one is where

Only got it because Gambia was in the news over the last few days for leaving the Commonwealth.

What is the statue of St Bartholomew in the Duomo in Milan carrying on its shoulders?

It's carrying a chunk of shaped stone of course. However, that particular shaped stone is the representation of St Barts' flayed skin.

Correct ````aaaagh, its a truly arresting sight. I think its a cast rather than a carving, amazing work for the 1560s.
