There was a dim kid in the year below me at school from Oxhey so his nickname was perfect.
Possibly, depends what the common pub question is.
He started as a centre forward for Edgware.
It’ll be one of the Wimbledon team that beat Liverpool I’m guessing. I know Vinnie Jones started at Wealdstone, not sure if he played for Edgware too.
Correct team, not Vinnie Jones though.
(Stuart Pearce also played for Wealdstone about the same time.)

Apparently part of the transfer included a new kit. Edgware were still wearing the kit the year Wimbledon won the cup.
