Back in the eighties, some friends were at a fancy dress party and got into a disagreement afterwards with some off-duty coppers over a cab. The coppers were dressed as caricature Aussies (hats with corks etc.) whilst one of my mates was dressed as an american motorcycle cop, and the other was the Hoffmeister bear.
