Very much in your 'Neck of the woods' as I recall Sooper. The Aquarius Golf Club is in Marmora Road, which is built on the underground reservoir in the vicinity. Henry Cotton would therefore be the sporting great. He won the British Open in 1934, 37 & 48, among many other titles.
