Is she from Detroit? That’s the one. Various Electric Six band members have sort of denied it, or refused to answer, or claimed that it was a car mechanic, the only respondent to a competition to sing with the band. But when you listen to it with Jack White in mind, more than credible, especially when you listen to him sing Bang Bang with the Raconteurs (only available on You Tube, think it was just a live act thing) and remember that the White Stripes started off in Detroit at the same time as Electric Six. Your go Steels.
Easy fun one..... The Beatles recorded over 300 tracks, but there were nearly 70 cover songs amongst that lot. A good number of original tracks feature a girls name - can you guess how many, and for fun list them?
Michelle Polythene Pam Lovely Rita Eleanor Rigby (though I don’t think she’s a girl) Sexy Sadie Dear Prudence Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds The Ballad of John and Yoko I’ll go for 12 in total.
Added to Stan's list... Anna Dizzy Miss Lizzy Julia Martha My Dear Maggie Mae Lady Madonna Hey Jude (Depends whether Jude is a boys or girls name) Penny Lane Heather There were some separate US releases both in albums and singles so there may be some others I,ve missed but from records I've had I make it 17 but it may even be around the 20 mark...
The mumber's right Sooper, but..... Anna - not Beatles original Dizzy Miss Lizzy - not Beatles original
