Currently working up in the Highlands, so something topical..... Why is Glenfiddich sold in triangular bottles?
Only a woman could come up with that Beth think they are actually shipped in cylindrical boxes anyway.
Im not a woman.... I am (was) a scientist, different breed altogether. But if we are talking about women...is it because its sticks its chest out (a bit like Barbara Windsor) so you can see the label
Simply as a marketing ploy - to be distinctive/different, and easily ordered by people who couldn’t remember/pronounce Glenfiddich. I seem to remember that Glenfiddich was the first single malt to be marketed internationally.
The triangular shaped bottle was designed in 1961, probably as a bit of a marketing ploy, but that is not the ethos behind the shape.....
