The Cleveland thing means it's 44 different presidents, but 45 presidential terms of office.

Correct. there have only been 44 presidents, even though they don't seem to take that into account when numbering themselves. Cleveland was elected to two non-consecutive terms (the 22nd and 24th term) meaning there have only been 44 US Presidents.

Flea was/is in Red Hot Chili Peppers - remember him being in Suburbia (brilliant film, loved it...although he looked a bit younger than he did in your photo I think) Obvious answer for country of birth would be USA, but as the band are Californian (I think) I'll have a guess at Mexico?

Not USA or Mexico mate, the film from the photo was from a trilogy in which he was in parts 2 and 3 which were made back to back in 1989 and 1990.
