Allowing that we didn't qualify for the 1994 World Cup it must be Lineker in 1990. In 2006 the first England goal was accredited as an own goal - the first by an English player was Peter Crouch against Trinidad.

Cheers Jeff. Ok. In 1974 a dead body was issued with a passport in order to fly to France. Whose body was it and why ?

    ramesses II
In 1974 Egyptologists visiting his tomb noticed that the mummy's condition was rapidly deteriorating and flew it to Paris for examination.[72] Ramesses II was issued an Egyptian passport that listed his occupation as "King (deceased)".[73] The mummy was received at Le Bourget airport, just outside Paris, with the full military honours befitting a king.[74]

lived till he was 91 which would be quite good in egypt now

According to the latest WHO data published in 2017 life expectancy in Egypt is: Male 68.8, female 73.2

    worldwide

    • An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled.
    • More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among young adults ages 15-44.
    • Road traffic crashes rank as the 9th leading cause of death and account for 2.2% of all deaths globally.
    • Road crashes are the leading cause of death among young people ages 15-29, and the second leading cause of death worldwide among young people ages 5-14.
    • Each year nearly 400,000 people under 25 die on the world's roads, on average over 1,000 a day.
    • Over 90% of all road fatalities occur in low and middle-income countries, which have less than half of the world's vehicles.
    • Road crashes cost USD $518 billion globally, costing individual countries from 1-2% of their annual GDP.
    • Road crashes cost low and middle-income countries USD $65 billion annually, exceeding the total amount received in developmental assistance.
    • Unless action is taken, road traffic injuries are predicted to become the fifth leading cause of death by 2030.

Judging by the 400,000 under 25 year olds and that more than a half are under 44 years old I would guess that the under 25 group is the biggest of all. So estimating 300,000 ? for the 25-44 year old group. If the 2 together are over half the total I would guess the total is 1.2 Million to 1.3 Million. At any rate it is too many.

If Cologne’s reckoning is right it’s about 3,300 a day.

Thank the lord for the Tufty club, went downhill with the Green Cross Code.
