Wow, I got one! Back to football. In my lifetime (born '52) my other footballing love, Chesham United, have had 7 or 8 (figure disputed) players that have played in the top division of English football. Name 5 of them please. As a little help 4 of them played for Chesham at the end of their careers.
Sir Luther Blissett Saint Stewart Scullion Bruce Grobelaar DJ Campbell Wayne Dyer (Not sure if he played in the top division ?)
Not quite Cologne. Blissett was manager but never played & I don't know who Wayne Dyer is! So that's three of them named. If you meant Wayne Andrews he never played in the top division.
In case anybody wants to play, I detail below the career paths of the missing players. 1) Watford, Sheffield United, Leeds, QUEENS PARK RANGERS, Chesham, Southend, Torquay, Stockport. 2) Preston, Brighton, Liverpool, Barnet, Tampa Bay, Corby, Chesham 3) West Ham, Chelsea, West Brom, Brentford, Colchester, Chesham 4) Chesham, Oldham, Southampton,Palace, Wigan, QUEENS PARK RANGERS, Newcastle, Watford 5) Chesham Youth, Oxford, Reading,Chelsea, Southampton, Luton, Millwall, Watford, Doncaster
Name the next in this sequence: Royal Engineers Oxford University Royal Engineers Old Etonians Old Etonians Oxford University Royal Engineers .............?
Just looked it up. You could have worked Queens' Park in there Stan - didn't know until just now that they were runners-up twice.
