They don't though, all they can really do is delay what Parliament agrees, and even if they did, if all they're doing now is agreeing with what those below them then just leave those below them doing the jobs they're currently doing but remove the need for approval. As for CofE, they can go and sort themselves out, nothing to do with the rest of us.
I suppose a lot of youngsters think like that, but most grow out of it unless they become a full time Class War crusty scounger with a manky dog on a string outside Princes Quay. I'd sooner have the likes of Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne involved in the running of things than Gordon Brown, Michael Gove, Ed Milliband, Clegg (his wife's puppet), Harperson, Ed Ballsup etc Don't knock a winning formula Ricardo!
